Mend Vauxhall Vectra Reg Low Speeds

my t reg (99) vectra cuts out at low speeds?

my t reg vectra cuts out when slowing down for approach to traffic lights or roundabouts etc, but runs fine otherwise, any ideas please? when sitting in traffic tickover is erratic.

Vauxhall Vauxhall Vectra Vehicles, Cars Reg Low Speeds

If you know a bit about cars or if you know somebody who does, find out where the idle speed control valve is and remove it by undoing the 2 phillips screws. Go and buy a tin of carb cleaner and spray it inside and all around the sensor. Put the sensor back and try that.

try vauxhall vectra forums on internet.........if i remember right the idle jet assembly needs cleaning...

Possibly the air idle valve or sensor. Common Problem & I've just encountered it with my SRI 140 vectra.
Someone has been selling genuine parts on ebay recently.
