Mend Ford Galaxy Key

1998 Galaxy C/Locking and windows?

I have a Ford Galaxy 1998 and have problems with central locking, unlocking from key (only works from boot now, not doors) Also I can open windows whilst driving from all switches, but they will not go back up. I can only close windows by turning key in boot lock and keeping it turned! Are these related? If so is it a relay or control unit somewhere?

Ty Steve. Would all that be caused by couple/few wires? Have been told there is a CCU that controls those things?? The closing windows and Drivers door c/locking stopped working at the same time.

you need to check all the wiring looms under the rubbers that go from the car body to the doors and tailgate.common issue of breaking and shorting out with age.You can also join the owners club for more info by going to www,fgoc,co,uk
