how do I adjust the timing on a singer 196K205?

I need to adjust the timing on my Singer 196K205

Singer Singer 196K205 Household Appliances, Sewing Machines Adjust Timing Singer

on the needle bar there is usually 2 marks rings,
turn the mc by hand the upper most mark is the lowest point of travel then the bar moves up to the lower mark at this point the hook should be just above the eye of the needle the needle bar can be ajusted with one lock screw.
