how do i clear engine diagnostic on fascia?

Hi, firstly have you repaired the problem the error has raised? Lexia is the dedicated diagnosis tool to identify the problem and remove error codes - you can use a phone app with a blue tooth dongle to clear some codes - i have also found with my 2.0hdi (2001) (Y reg) that turning the ignition on and off 12 times sometimes works, also disconnecting the battery with the side lights on - then shorting the tales of the wires (a jump lead is good) this discharges the ecu - turn the lights off - reconnect the battery ecu will go through a sequence of checks - reset the clock - radio stations and electric windows, this has worked for me after constantly going into limp mode with the common Anti Polution fault.
