is it broken completely?

I have a panasonic SD 253 I tried to cook some but on opening the machine after the 5 hrs it had a crust on top of goo at the botton it had not mixed the bread even some flour was all around the goo...I have tried with a new mix to just make the dough but after half an hour nothing had happened help! many thanks June Wray
