vauxhall zafira 1999 central locking not working?

after dropping my key, which split apart and chip fell out the central locking no longer works. AA came out to car after idd tried to jump start it and with cables. aa told me a fuse was out and then i found chip. car started and off i went. next day i had a flat battery, on futher investiagtion the interior light was on and central locking not working + petrol cap locked. key in the door now does not make central locking work. i have tried resynching with the engine. you can hear the relay click + lights flash but does not work. have checked fuses in car and under bonnet. no loose wires going from car body to door. plaese can anyone help.
