Mend Renault Megane Starting Problem Engine

Engine doesn`t start first time?

my 2003 Renault Megane sometimes doesn`t start first time especially when on uneven surface but if left for some mins, it thus start. This happens when parked on a hill/slope. What could be the problem?
The battery/alternator were checked by a garage and they are ok.
