Mend Sagem HTD501 Light Turn Yellow

sagem htd501 tv?

The standby red light comes on when i turn the tv on it then turns to a flashing yellow light but then instead of turning to green it turns back to red it wont turn on. We have just replaced the bulb. we have tried connecting the terminals in the bulb holder it came on once but now it has reverted back again. please can anyone help?

Worth checking the fuse in the lamp holder first, it's there to protect the lamp from spikes, you need a fuse when the lamps are over £100 a pop.

The holder gets some rite stick, due to the heat generated from the lamp.set detects an open circuit and shuts down :)

It's a rear pro SD :) replace the faulty bulb holder.

What bulb? sets do not use bulbs. Possible power supply unit fault
