Mend Hotpoint TDC30 Dryer Vent Cycle

What causes my Hotpoint TDC30 tumble dryer to cut out?

The above tumble dryer was working fine, but now it cuts out after 5 to 10 mins and will not start again unless left for 10mins, when it will repeat the above cycle. I have cleaned all the vents front & rear, checked the filters and water condenser all to no avail...any ideas?

I've got the same machine and the same problem - although it will start again straight away and cut out again after a random time period, can range from seconds to minutes

I have got the same dryer and exactly the same problem. I have been told that it's a faulty relay and are having this replaced tomorrow. I have been advised by an engineer not to use until relay fitted, as it can cause the heater to burn out (of which I have also had to have replaced last week).
