dc04 settings?

I have a dc04 dyson. but unsure of the floor settings. tried reading the blurb about dyson. but does not say about the floor settings.
This dyson was given to me and |I tried to get manual on line not very helpful. Ok -pictures are fine. but does not what other companies do just information. The dyson is good but would help if they actually gave you a detailed list of settings. , Just how to use the floor settings plus other bits. Not to repair or replace at present.. And actually how to use the dyson dc04. I expect there are many people out there -who are conversant with this model. so please advise. many thanks in advance. Anne
