Two ways repair shop through leasure outlet they may have address that repairs them.
or self repair. Two patches of the same material.
you will need to fold the edges for strength.
'Tack' Sew inner patch along one edge at least one inch in from edge of tear/rip keeping patch straight and not wrinkled (not easy) tack at same point the outer patch along the same side of tear/rip.
when satisfied its ok sew down through both folds at a tight stich ie:close. If ok do same on other side. Make sure you've cut the patches the right size to allow the folds.
Saying this you will find that most awning repairers can do an almost invisible repair.
If you do do it yourself you will need to spray the patches with waterproofing for awnings.
