Mend Singer Capri Sort Out Problem

How to sort out the problem ?

I have a singer Capri sewing machine , it's second hand and came with no instructions. It's has been sewing nice but now the under stitching is loose and the machine wheel sometimes doesn't move when I press on thd pedal any info would be great. Thanks

remove bobbin case and see if the tension is set properly,that will cause tangling of thread.regarding footpedal only way is to open up and look for loose wires or replace with universal footcontrol
