Mend DAF xf 480 1998 Engine Light Starts

DAF xf 480 1998 upec engine?

My DAF has an engine management light in yellow which comes on when it starts to pull around 15000 revs when I ease off light goes out occasionally if I am heavy it flashes in red . I have checked filters , fuel pipes , inter cooler , intake pipes all ok . Truck pulls well nothing out of the ordinary happens when warning light flashes .

apart from getting the code read ,you may have a fuel pressure issue,system can't maintain fuel pressure when the engine is under load,check the fuel pick up pipe filter in the tank isn't clogged
