Bosch WFF 1401 programmer fault?

Hi Steve machine is older type, there were a couple of Bosch machines which if you selected progs 1, 2, or 3 then it would stay on the prog no. just long enough to for the processor to load up then move to a dot on the dial to start the prog selected, so progs 1, 2, and 3, would halt for a short while then all started on the same dot . If machine is new to you this could be the explanation . If machine not new to you and machine didnt do it before then i will give some more thought, let me know the situation. Cheers
