Yeh we have had the odd issue, in most domestic installs we fit the quad linear with selectable pet immune as standard now,but on a few occasions we have had to revise the PIR's adjustments and position.

Had one where the cat was mental it ran up Walls and curtains,they also said the cat used to run up the wall and attack the pir,they even said they saw their beloved cat clinging onto it with both paws.

We got round that one by fitting a ceiling flush mount,technology has moved so fast over the years, I can remember back in the old days when you could fit pet lenses to most Passover, what a load of shite they were.I mean they filtered out nearly everything apart from an elephant, you could also sneak under them if you knew the pir,s location.

The modern range tend to need a bit more planning but still are not that stable,especially if the home has a mental moggy :-D

If you are worried obout omiting a zone because it isn't covered' then replace that rooms sensor for the pet tolerant type,cheaper than changing them all.

Ps I don't like cats because they always seem to toilet in my darn garden,suppose yours is a house cat so you are responsible for it's poop.That's ok with me and you can give your pussy a stroke from me.

What's more important, the cat or your possessions?
Now that's over, restrict the cat to kitchen/laundry etc. in other words, a room that does not have a movement detector.
It won't like it the first couple of times but it'll soon get used to it. Also move its favourite blanket or what ever in there as well, this will help it to settle down more easily.

Cats are very adaptable.

why not just shoot the cat ??????cheaper in the long run ,or,if you are very attached to the cat,put it in one room,and switch that zone off
