Central Locking Problem Megane 1.4?

Both of my keys do not work and i am haviing to use the manual key to open and close the doors. I have replaced the battery but still it does not work.
The key works fine to start the car so i am thinking that the battery is not the problem and it is something to do with my central locking system - any ideas or tips?
