Mend Nissan X-Trail 05 Going Limp Mode

going in to limp mode?

i have a nisson x trail o5 plate deisal it keeps going in to limp mode going along its fine come to a stop traffic lights ect then when you pull away it will only do 40 mph stop it and start again it will be fine for a short while then start again going in to limp mode again

Nissan Nissan X-Trail 05 Vehicles, Cars Going Limp Mode

When was it last serviced? Have you checked the air filter? If it is very dirty could need replacing.
