Mend SCHNEIDER DVD857 Player Play Mp3

How to repair a SCHNEIDER DVD857 Player?

The player will happily play photo,audio an mp3 disks but when it trys to play a DVD disk the disk spins it starts to load it then stops and says NO DISK. Apart from that the player seems to work fine. Any ideas anyone?

Thanks . But tried that and it still will not play DVD's. Any other ideas anyone?

You've lost the DVD laser. Try a cleaner disc.
