the brushes on my dyson dc04 are not working what might be the problem?
the brushes are not working,but everything else seems to be in order.the motor is running and there is suction but the brushes are not turning. i thought the belt may be broken but when i checked its ok
Does the roller turn if you rotate it by hand ? if yes you probably have the clutched model.
These have 2 belts
Changing the belts on these models is a real problem.
Normally only done in a repair shop but there are manuals available which cover doing this job I have seen them while looking on Ebay.
