Mend Vauxhall 93183155 Gearbox Repair

gear box repairs?

I recently had trouble getting 1st gear on my car. I was told it was a common problem to do with gear linkage and needed a kit from vauxhall to solve the problem. have bought kit gm number 93183155. can you tell me how to fit it?

if it goes into gear ok with your engine off then you may have clutch problems.If your linkage is worn then the small plastic rod about 6 inches long usually pops off its ball sockets,if that is the case then you would be better off buying a manual and it will tell you the procedure for fitting and adjusting your linkage
