How do i fix my tension button as its all come apart on my sewing machine?

presume you mean top tension ?starting from machine body,tension washer with high part towards outside.if there is big flat washer that will go on next,other tension washer with high part towards machine,then come taper spring,tension nut next,small slotted washer and last dial knob.most imporant is the two tension discs that the high parts must face each other.the rest is easy to figure out
