my speedo on my citroen c5 isnt working but my tripometer is?

If the rest of the lights and gauges are working OK it will not be a fuse problem and as the tripmeter is working that also rules out the sensor as it provides info for both the trip and speedo, most likely is the stepper motor in the speedo unit has failed

check fuse that power that panel, but sometimes the speed sensor goes" and needs to be replaced, check what they look like on ebay. see can you find out were it is? and check the wireing going to it first.
