Load sensing valve on a daf 45?

Not too bad Paul. The dashboard had to be moved to one side and the cylinder was held on by two studs and a split pin. Cylinder stripped and cleaned and new seals fitted. No spring with the kit but had one from a friend ;-). Went back easy enough but had to bleed it backwards to get the clutch working.

Was the job difficult to do, and where did you get the information from to do it, and how long did it take you.

Haven't a clue about the price ,Can only suggest you phone local daf dealer ,and a couple of local motor factors..Can't really see the dealer having 1 in stock considering the vehicle has bee out of production for 10 or 11 years.Saying that they can get 1 overnight from the factory though the overnight (V.O.R) order does cost more

Cheers Norb. Wonder what the price will be? My clutch master cylinder gave up Tuesday . £290 +vat for a new one luckily a new set of seals only cost £17.

DAF don't do a repair kit .So it's a new valve ...
