i turned the water too the house off lastnight to fix an upstairs tap,when turned back on the cold water tap downstairs wasnt working and the toilet isnt filling up.Any ideas why and how do i fix it ?? Every other tap in the house is fine.
have you wash hand basin in toilet than push water main through cold tap to get air out, or shut main off drain cold tank and than re fill might get flowing again

thanks for answer but we have not got a mixer tap. Can you suggest another way. ? Its a combi boiler btw.

Air lock in system place your hand with cloth under mixture tap open hot and cold keep press 3to5 mits air will clear
