Mend Sanyo DS25380 Fine Suddenly Button

sanyo DS25380 TV Horizontal Problems?

MY TV was working fine then suddenly the horizontal went out. I don't have a button to fix the horizontal or vertical lines. Please help!!

when you say the horizontal 'went out' what do you mean? what can you see on screen right now?

you mention lines, if it is a single white line switch off right away to avoid wrecking the tube, and get it to a technician. you have a bad component or joint in the vertical circuit

I think its to do with the convergence I.C (an integrated circuit) which costs probably around £80 as I was quoted recently for my TV, different make/model. But mine didnt even turn on went into protection mode (prevents TV starting, goes into standby). Let me know what the symptons are and what you are doing, I might be able to assist with my admittedly limited knowledge, who knows!
