My 1999 scenic as a problem with opening. Door panel taken off,central locking seems to be in working order, however door will not open, door handle wire to plastic box on edge of door does not seem to being anything. Please advise how to fix problem. I am disabled and have little money, so any help would be very helpful.
Please describe exactly what is wrong in as much detail as possible.
1)Does the door unlock with central locking.
2)Does the door handle lift up when you pull it?
3)How did you get the door open to check the door handle wire.
4) Does the opposite side door feel the same when you lift the handle. Post your reply again
