How do i unjam my dyson cylinder?

My dyson DC04 is jammed, I can not get it undone. Is there anyone who has come across this problem and knows a solution?

Depends which part is jammed. The brushbar can become stuck if blocked in which case you simply remove it and clear it. If it is the brush control unit, that will probably have to be replaced.
