How do Fule line fittings disconnect on a DAF LF.45.150?
Hi, Cleaning off Fuel tank on a DAF LF45.150 04 plate before an MOT and it started leaking. I have drained the tank and am trying to remove the fuel pipes to the filter and priming pump by the fuel tank but cannot work out how the fittings work to remove the pipes. The pipes are plastic and the fittings appear to be brass with 2 rings that rotate. I am being cautious as hope to reuse them. Thanks Rob
also don't forget to remove the large brass nut from the filter housing as debri collects in there causing lack of power and engine warnings when under load

It was reassurring to know they were definitely pushfit and not straight forward. They turned out to be tricky but got the tank off. I hope they are more straight forward to get back in.

it's a pushfit coupling,push and hold the inned brass rotating ring in and then pull the plastic pipe out..you may have to try and twist the pipe to break the seal as the pipes are tight .
