my cord "flew" when it came unplugged from the wall. Now it won't turn on. ?

My cord "flew" back in the vacum after it came unplugged from the wall . When I plugged it back in , I got a little noise like it was going to run and now nothing. Cord looks good, what else can I check.

check fuse.
cut plug off and fit a new one.Failing that you are looking internal/wire broken issue
