Firstly I must remind you that microwaves are very dangerous not just for the high level of microwave radiation but the high voltages (8,000 volts or higher) that are present inside even when it is switched off. There is a procedure to leak off this high voltage before any repair can be made. The chances are that the voltage doubler and protection diode pair have gone short or open circuit which also blows the fuse. Replacing them is reasonably easy and can be bought online for approx £10. TAKE NOTE OF MY WARNING and get someone who knows micrwaves to do the job ITS NOT WORTH KILLING YOURSELF.

First off a microwave is a machine able to kill or injure even when unplugged, too long a story to go into but don't say you were not warned, if you don't know, don't go. the most common cause is down to the safety interlock switches being faulty, just as likely on this model though is the magnetron is at fault. not a job for the untrained. if i can help further I will, contact me via details on microwave-repairs.co.uk
