water disapearing sumwhere from water bottle changed thermostat today to up to date plastic one because old brass one looked as though it was leaking and worn filled back up with coolant test drove it bk to square one hardly any in water bottle i cant see a leak and its not going to be head ive checked oil?if anyone could help thanx
water can get pulled in to the combustion side on diesel engine so it could still be a head gasket issue.Mayo oil might not occur so don't dismiss head totally if no visible leaks are present.Head gasket on PD diesel engines is well documented!

if you cant see a leak then it must be using water internally!suspect head/gasket.
