Mend Vauxhall Astra 05 1.4 16V Throttle Sensor

vauxhall astra 05 1.4 16 valve electronic accelorator?

my car packed up eventualy got it to start again air filter off car will idle but there is no responce at all when i depress the throttle pedel has any one come across this problem before there is no lights on in the car i.e managment or the other one with the spanner on it so dont know where the problem lies

just a guess but have had a couple of motors reaching a 1k revs and no higher,turned out to be the crank sensor,might be worth trying a scrappy for one just to try.
