how can i fix my clio grande immobiliser?

my 17 year old son tonight decided to fit a sub woofer to his car taking the positive off the battery now sub woofer is fitted and the car wont start we think due to the immobiliser his car is a 1.2 clio grande 2000 model
any help would be very gratefully received ...KIDS!!!
