I too have had the same problem. I turn the fuse on to get power to the unit and hear the processor (though I have a grey box) make the whirling noise for about 10 seconds then stops. I have spent the last 5 week ends trying everything, checking the water flows, training the water system in the house completely, everything. However, I have read on this forum fo other problems that it may have something to do with ball bearings in the processor. The one's in the processor unit are iron, and can easily rust and corrode causing a blockage. It has been suggested getting new ball bearings (unfortunately I do not know what size), but Aqualisa will not supply these - they always suggest getting a new processor unit!!!
