A while since I done one of these and think it is on bulkhead about centre of engine,if I remember correctly I disconnected the two fuel pipes from the filter body and removed the whole assy onto the bench,if it is common rail make sure the ignition is off,I usually use a pair of oil filter pliers to remove the large plastic nut,remove top off of filter and twist element 90 degrees and pull off,refit in reverse,turn ignition on for a few seconds to prime filter.
