How do I remove air lock from hot water system?

you dont say if its a mixer tap, or two taps? hot and cold taps? if there are two taps hot and cold,, try getting a one foot lenth of hose, link the cold tap to the hot tap with the hose, turn on the hot tap all the way, now rurn on the cold tap, your trying to force the cold water back up into the hot tap to hit the airlock, when it hits the airlock the water should run again, if its a mixer tap hold the palm of your hand over the tap and do the same.
