focus fob?

my green chip broke - so got another green chip - how do i get this to work in my old fob ??tried the 0-2 way just makes first beep - but wen i push a button on fob ,, nothing happens - can only use fob to manual unlock - but now drivers back door wont unlock ??? thanks - shaun
