My Ideal Mexico Super RS 65 boiler has developed an intermittent fault. When the programmer switches off the boiler occasionally continues to operate and will not stop until I switch off the power at the main switch on the wall. I have fitted a new programmer and carefully checked the wiring, this operated perfectly for a couple of weeks but the problem has now returned. What else needs replacing to prevent this?
Thanks for this Richard. Sod's law rules at the moment and everything is working perfectly. I'll try this when it goes wrong again. Alan

depending how it is wired your hot water ( cylinder stat could be calling ), try turning off room stat ( if fitted ) to see if boiler stops when programmer is on.
