Mend Drain Smell Washing Machine Filter

Bad smell?

There is a drain smell during washing - seems to be coming from filter. Only able to unscrew filter small amount which has released bad smelling water

Tighten the filter cover and run the machine on a high temp wash,

higher temp the better,

if the machine hasn't been used for a while,the small amount of water left in the drainage system on the machine goes stagnant,.

the machine needs to be sterile,

as I say a boil wash should do the trick,..
