Mend Car Problem Lost

wont start?

my car wont start now however before it got to this stage the car kept on cutting out regularly and the next stage in then problem was the car lost all acceleration capabilities i.e., the accelerator just didnt work, now the car will turn but it just refuses to fire up almost as if the car is being starved is there a solution to my problem or any advice will be greatly appreciated
