How can I fix my sam4 er 150 cash register?

When I have made a sale it won't open sometimes it will then other times it won't, i then have to press no sale and that does not always work either, i then I have to open it from underneath by using the small catch, any ideas, as it's a waste of a till as it carnt be used,

You may have something caught in the latch that holds the drawer tray. Look inside the drawer to make sure no bills or receipts are stuck inside. Otherwise the drawer latch may be worn or the solenoid in the drawer may be failing sometimes.
