My wife turned our bedroom radiator off when hot the other day and when it has been turned back on again it wont heat up at all. All others in house remain hot and fully functioning. Seems to be heat in the pipe at bottom near thermostat but nothing going through to the radiator. Can onyone advise please?? Thanks in advance.
is it a trv valve?.One where you twist top to set temp?.If it is unscrew top and you might find pin stuck down.If it is gently get 2 spanners and tap the valve body 180 degrees apart and hopefully pin will release allow warm water to flow.This isn't a permanent fix as the valve may need replacing but will get the rad up and running if you leave it flat out
