transmission will not ?

1995 Ford E350 transmission problem :1) was not shifting 2) It would hesitate, then slam into reverse in addition it would move into drive very slow
My repair attempts are as follows: 1) changes fluid & filter
2) result it shifts fine in all gears until it gets hot
3) then it hesitates & then slams into reverse
4) is there a simple solution to this problem, I know my way as a mechanic fairly well

1,Was ATF contaminated, open filter to check for debris, too late ? 2. An ATF and filter change will not put material back on friction linings. 3, difficult to diagnose on this site, but 4,I think your problem requires box removal and therefore not a simple fix.
