Smiths Enfield 8 Day Clock?

Hi there,

I have inherited a Smiths Enfield mantel clock from my grandmother with three holes for winding. I can't seem to get it going although it seems to be wound up.
I don't want to over wind it? Could be already?
Problem is my grandmother never showed me how to wind or set the clock up.

Can these clocks be locked for transit, how does one get it going??
