rear passenger brake locks on over night?

thanks for your help
the cable was seized, so i put a new cable on, also notices the rear shoes were very worn so replaced them with new, and noticed the NEW rear shoe brake lining was half the thickness of the rear front shoe (Hope that makes sence, two shoes on rear wheel) i went back to the shop in st helens and all the shoes were the same, odd,
anyway i put the shoes on but dont ave a hand brake now, just wondering how to ajust the hand brake

They need stripped and coppergrease applied to the moving parts,or you could try getting underneath with the handbrake off and spraying the cable ends and connections with WD40 and work the handbrake a few times.Everything is getting wet then drying out and sticking up with rust.Strip,clean,grease,you don't have a major problem.
