looking at your helpful advice. Not sure how to get the belt around the motor as it is fixed to a flywheel at the back. Rovoved the back but cant remove the wheel as even though i have removed the nut it seems fixed?
assuming you have the belt around the drum and have fitted all the screw back in to the back panel lay the dryer on its side.remove the metal plate on the bottom held with 4 screw.put your feet against the bottom of the dryer.grab hold of the belt and pull the belt over the pulley wheel

you dont take off any wheels, take the machine out were you can work on it. put it on its side if you have too, the belt will be tight and hard to feed on, if it were not tight it would not work,, put the belt on the small wheel first. then feed the belt around one half side of the big wheel,as it gets tight keep turning the big wheel till the belt is on, mind your fingers as you go,,
