daf 45 lf not charging?

Just to add to what mm said ..you should be getting 27 volt at batteries with a voltmeter ,as obviously it's a 24 volt system.also put meter over the alternator and see what is actually coming out the alternator..let us know how you get on and i can give some more suggestions ..but make sure batts are healthy and 1 isnt faulty

remove plug from alternator ,remove cover ,and give each wire a good pull and see what wire breaks..or remove brush box from alternator,may just be worn brushes ,brush box available at dealer,15 min job

car telling you whats wrong,get battery checked,check all battery connections,if these ok,guess what the trouble is ?get your self a volt meter,set to dc,connect it to the battery terminals,rev engine,if you get a reading on it,say like 12.5 13.5 volts,the alternator is ok simple test
