howt to test motor and pct device?

I guess your fridge is not working, you would be better posting make and model, different ways to test depending on type, mechanical thermostat, you can use a test meter on the terminals, to check, but you should be able to hear it click, compressor motor use test meter, if the windings give a low but not short reading probably ok
