my port dvd player pdv313 has no sound or picture?

after so long im not sure whether or not you can help me, opprox 4years ago my girlfreind bought me the portable dvd player model pdv313, itook it out in my wagon with me played 1 movie after that it never played again , i didnt have the heart to tell her it was broke. i am no longer with her and have pulled it out of the cubard is there any chance of getting it fixed.
