Mend Daewoo Leganza Key Battery Changed

automatic lock won't work after changing car key battery?

My battery had to be changed on my 2000 daewood leganza
key holder that automatically locks my car, because the battery went dead. Once I changed the battery on my key, my car still won't automatically lock or unlock. The battery works,so how do I fix this problem.

You could try putting the key into the ignition, turn until the ignition is on but don't try to start the car, then press the lock button on the key. This might bring the car and key back into sync, it does for Vauxhalls at least.

The transmitter will proably have to be reprogramed for the car
